Q: Can teleSURF connect my whole network to the Internet with one connection?

A: Yes. A single connection between the Speedbox or Bridge and the network will provide all authorised users access to teleSURF's services. Customers wishing to connect multiple computers may want to consider installing a 'proxy server' or a router to act as a gateway between their internal network and the teleSURF connection.

A teleSURF user may also require technical support from a Systems Integrator to provide the necessary hardware, software and implementation. Depending on the applications being used, the number of devices connected will determine the appropriate bandwidth/Data Plan. We can recommend a teleSURF Approved Systems Integrator.

Q: If I want to change my connection speed, do you need to come and visit me?

A: No, we are able to vary the speeds and date plans remotely. Simply call our Helpdesk on 012 999 123

Q: Can I have more than one connection at a time into my Speedbox?

A: The Speedbox will support a single Ethernet connection, either directly to a host computer, or into a Local Area Network (LAN). For this you will need to connect teleSURF into your 'Proxy server', router or Fire Wall.

Q: Can I have a VPN with other offices outside of teleSURF coverage?

A: Yes. Our sales staff can advise you on this.

Q: How can I know how much data my company really transfers?

A: teleSURF provides a breakdown of hourly recorded usage in the password protected area of the Customer Zone. This shows the amount of data received and sent.
